CMNH’s Think & Drink With the Extinct Explores the Winter Solstice on the Second Longest Night of the Year

Thu 12/20 @ 6PM

This month’s Think and Drink with the Extinct, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s adult evening, focuses on the winter solstice — the longest night of the year.

It’s actually the following night, so this evening is only the SECOND longest night. But the fun you’ll have drinking, snacking and imbibing fun scientific knowledge will make the hours fly by. You can walk on Mars and drive an NASA concept vehicle at virtual/augmented reality stations, check out winter birds courtesy of CMNH’s Department of Ornithology, learn how to stay warm in cold weather and even meet nocturnal animals.

They’re also promising NO holiday music! Isn’t that worth the price of admission alone? ($10 advance, $12 at the door, planetarium an additional $6)
