Creative Mornings CLE Reflects on Muses @ BOP STOP

Lisa Quine

Fri 9/20 @ 8:30AM

Creative Mornings is an international program with local chapters. It hosts a monthly breakfast program with a speaker who presents a talk on the subject of the month, which is the same from Cleveland to Dubai. But each speaker decides the direction the theme will talk. Creative Mornings Cle takes place at different venues around town each month.

For September, the theme is “muse.” They tell us “muse can mean inspiration from just about anywhere, it most accurately sums up the fact that often thoughts and emotions that shape our creative work are drawn to the surface by people around us and our relationship to them.”

Lisa Quine, a “creative consultant” who does murals, illustration, lettering and graphic design, will talk about how she used her dating experiences, both positive and negative, to fuel her personal work which blossomed into a career as an international mural artist (She’s now married, so perhaps she’ll talk about how that factors in!)

The program, taking place at the BO STOP, also includes live music, local designers and the chance to pitch the audience a project you’re working on in a 30-second “Espresso Shot Pitch” (email omg@thatsgreyt.com for one of the limited slots).

The program is free and includes breakfast and coffee. Register here.
