DESCRIPTION:\nFri 2/28 @ 7:30PM\nAkron’s Chrissy Strong is well known in 
 that area for her forceful vocals and keyboard skills\, applied to the pas
 sionate piano ballads she writes. Josee McGee is also an Akron-area singer
 /songwriter and working musician who performs Beatles\, Carole King\, Flee
 twood Mac and other artists’ material in local venues while working in h
 er own originals which draw on pop\, soul and jazz. She released a new alb
 um called Weeper last year .Vocalist Nikole McGee is her sister\, both com
 ing from a musical family.\nThe three women will blend their vocals\, inst
 ruments and songs for a Women in Song concert at the Akron Civic Theatre
 ’s intimate Knight Stage. It’s an “in the round” style event where
  they pass the mic\, perform on each other’s songs and tell stories abou
