SUMMARY:Who Will Be the New Miss Gay Akron? Find Out at the Akron Civic The
 atre
DESCRIPTION:\nFri 9/19 @ 7PM\nAkron Civic Theatre’s Knight Stage will be
filled with glitz and glamor when the lights come up on this year’s Miss
Gay Akron pageant. It’s an event with roots in the 70s\, but it became
an annual event starting in the late 80s\, and has been held yearly since.
\nThe stage will be filled with area drag performers competing in four cat
egories: burlesque presentation (non-judged)\, gown\, Q&amp\;A and talent.
The event will honor last year’s winner Veronika Katrell as she passes
the crown on to the new queen.\nGet tickets here.\n[mappress mapid="842"]
