SUMMARY:Walk All Over Waterloo Features Art in Galleries and Free Music in
 the Treelawn Social Club
DESCRIPTION:[caption id="attachment_170341" align="alignnone" width="1400"]
John McGrail[/caption]\nFri 12/5 @ 6-9PM\nThe Walk All Over Waterloo firs
t Friday art walks get a little sleepy this time of year: it’s chilly wa
lking between the various storefront galleries\, and music on the outside
Tower Stage is long gone. But there are still things to see and do — jus
t bundle up!\nYou’ve got one more chance to catch Josie Krampitz and Nat
e Rouse’s show Little Treasures at the Praxis Fiber Workshop gallery. It
’s constructed on wallpaper\, interrogating its uses in the past and pre
sent\, and possible the future. Across the street Article Gallery will sho
wcase work by the artists who have studios in the space. Mary Jo Bole’s
show of ceramic art continues at the William Busta Projects Gallery throug
h January 3. And be sure to stop in Waterloo Arts where its holiday co-op
sale is taking place and you can do some shopping from local artists with
very affordable items available.\nAnd while it might not be on the big out
door stage again until May\, the free Waterloo Makes Music concert series\
, sponsored by presented by Cleveland Rocks: Past\, Present\, Future\, for
ges on\, only indoors at the Treelawn Social Club.  There\, from 7-9pm\,
you can hear one of the area’s veteran singer/songwriters John McGrail\,
performing with his band featuring Jay Bentoff on bass and vocals\, Sheel
a Das on flutes\, whistles\, guitars and vocals\, and Beth Ann Woyshville
on percussion\, guitar and vocals. And guess who else? That’s right —
it’s the tireless Mikey Silas\, frontman for Apostle Jones\, who is perf
orming — let me check again — 8\,622 shows before the end of the year.
And every one of them well worth checking out!\n waterloo-makes-music-jo
