 Alex Bevan’s creative staying power is incredible for any musician\, let
  alone one whose career has been modest\, if steady and sustainable. His c
 areer began in local folk clubs back in the late 1960s\, and he released h
 is first album in 1971. There’ve been dozens more since then\, packed wi
 th songs that encompass humor\, sentimentality\, storytelling and a passio
 n for justice and kindness. Now in his mid 70s\, he may no longer be the 
 “Skinny Little Boy (from Cleveland\, Ohio)” of his local mid ’70s ra
 dio hit\, but as a musician he just keeps hitting new highs\, constantly k
 icking out new material\, improving his guitar playing skills and maintain
 ing his crystal clear voice.\nHe’ll be performing this weekend at the Ke
 nt Stage with a few of his many friends from the area music scene: bassist
  Lenny DiCosimo\, drummer Tom Deock\, keyboard player Tim Longfellow and g
 uitarist Austin Charanghat. As usual\, the set list will reach back to his
  earliest days (he sometimes even plays “Skinny Little Boy”) and forwa
 rd into the 2020s. He may even include a song he wrote last week — you n
 ever know.\nThe promotion for the show promises\, “The night will includ
 e tunes from the Lake Erie Islands\, The Watersongs\, Sparrow and the Covi
 d Live Streams.  Alex will weave an evening of stories and memories from
  the pages of his catalog into a tapestry designed to transport every audi
