  of the U.S.’s 250th anniversary doesn’t seem as intense as that of it
 s bicentennial in 1976\, this time of year\, heading into the 4th of July\
 , still brings a bumper crop of “celebrating America” concerts every y
 ear.\nOn deck this weekend is the Cleveland Pops Orchestra\, which will ta
 ke the stage at Severance Music Center to perform a night of “Made in Am
 erica” music\, encompassing jazz (ragtime\, Dixieland\, big band)\, rock
 \, county\, blues and hip hop\, among other genres. There will also be the
  obligatory salute to the armed forces\, as well as to first responders (I
  always wish they’d also include those VERY first responders—teachers
 —but these programs tend to be very masculinized.)\nJoining the orchestr
 a and the Cleveland Pops Chorus will be the Brass Band of the Western Rese
 rve\, and Northeast Ohio-based vocalists Mariama Whyte\, Natalie Green\, D
