DESCRIPTION:\nFri 7/10 @ 11AM\nSat 7/11 @ 11AM\nThis weekend\, the greater 
 Akron area celebrates what Italians gave brought to this country when they
  became Americans\, honoring the culture at the 76th annual Summit County 
 Italian-American Festival.\nThe event takes place at Lock 3 in downtown Ak
 ron over two days\, starting with the gates opening at 11am each day\, alt
 hough there’s an official “opening” ceremony at 8pm Friday. All day 
 there’ll be live music (mostly cover and tribute bands)\, and food\, foo
 d\, food. And bring the kids on Saturday because from 4-8pm\, it’s Famig
 lia Fun Night. There’ll be attractions such as train rides\, stilt walke
 rs\, the Carnevale stage show\, the Lil’ Pisa Dance Party\, balloon art\
 , and that big favorite of kids everywhere: face painting. At the same tim
 e\, at 4:30\, there’s a Catholic Mass in the lobby of the Akron Civic Th
 eatre for the religiously inclined.\nThe whole thing wraps up with firewor
 ks at 10pm on Saturday. Admission is free.\nsummit-county-italian-american
