DESCRIPTION:\nSat 11/1 @ 5PM\nIt was quite a coup when SPACES then-gallery 
 director Tizziana Baldenebro and former moCa curator Lauren Leving were ch
 osen to curate the U.S. Pavilion at 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale. The
 ir exhibition\, Everlasting Plastics\, focused on “the ways [plastics] b
 oth shape and erode contemporary ecologies\, economies\, and the built env
 ironment\,” as interpreted by five diverse artists from Massachusetts\, 
 Illinois\, Michigan and Cleveland\, Ohio.\nThe artists who created site-sp
 ecific installations included Xavi Laida Aguirre\, assistant professor of 
 architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology\; Detroit-based 
 designer Simon Anton\; Ang Li\, assistant professor in the School of Arc
 hitecture at Northeastern University\; Norman Teague\, assistant professo
 r of industrial design in the School of Design at the University of Illino
 is Chicago\; and Cleveland sculptor/conceptual artist Lauren Yeager.\nThe
  show then came back stateside to Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum of Art la
 st year.  And now it’s finally landed in Cleveland where it with. Be on

  called A Plastic Homecoming which\, landing on Halloween weekend as it is
 \, is encouraging attendees to were “outrageous” outfits to a “wild\
 , art-fueled costume bash.” The events\, which will feature light bites\
 , a cash bar\, and local DJ Red-! (Brittany Benton) spinning records for d
 ancing from 6:45-10pm. Buy a VIP ticket and come to the pre-party across t
 he street at Patron Saint for food\, drinks and early access to the online
