DESCRIPTION:\nSat 7/25 @ 5PM\nOne of the area’s newer galleries in the SL
 TWTR Gallery in East Cleveland. Its current exhibit is themed around the U
 .S.’s 250th anniversary\, and on Saturday July 25\, it will host a speci
 al event called “Poetry &amp\; Paintings\,” inspired by that show. Sim
 ilar to Heights Arts’ Ekphrastacy events\, poets will respond to the art
 \, sharing their ideas about what the works are saying\, and offering a li
 nk between the purely visual and the word-based descriptive.\n250 is a fou
 r-artist group show featuring work by Black painters Lasaundra Robinson an
 d Jennifer Price\, both of whom focus much of their work on Blakc women an
 d girls\, photographer Emanuel Wallace\, known for his street photography 
 and community coverage at Scene\, and sound artist Benjamin Smith of the m
 obile recording studio Splice-Cream Truck. Their work responds to the ques
 tion “What would this country look like if Black\, Brown\, and Indigenou
 s people had not been hindered but instead allowed to thrive uninterrupted
 ?” That question is likely to elicit some provocative and enlightening i
 deas from the participating poets.\nThe show will be on view through Septe
