DESCRIPTION:\nSat 9/20-Sun 11/2\nIt seems like the Halloween “season” k
 eeps getting longer and longer\, and each year\, more organizations join i
 n the spirit. This year\, Holden Arboretum is the latest to join in the ma
 nia\, perhaps inspired by its recent summer art installations.\nIts new ex
 hibit Skeleton Grove will feature ten 10-12-foot skeleton sculptures desig
 ned by area artists\, cavorting among the trees in the Main Display Garden
  and in front of the Corning Visitor Center. They’re more fun than  sca
 ry in the daytime\;  for some of us\, going to the top of Holden’s Kalb
 erer Emergent Tower is scarier.\nThe “official” start of the fall seas
 on on Monday September 22\, but the skeletons will be on view starting Sat
 urday September 20 when there’ll be an artist meet-and-greet from 10am-n
 oon.  The skeletons will be on view through Sunday November 2. Skeleton G
 rove is free with regular admission. Holden is open Tuesday through Sunday
