DESCRIPTION:\nSun 3/30 @ 2PM\nShe Roars!\, taking place at the BOP STOP\, i
 s described as “a celebration of chamber music by living female composer
 s.” In fact\, the upcoming program celebrates cellist/composer Eliabeth 
 Start\, a Kalamazoo native who has a bachelor’s degree in cello performa
 nce from Oberlin Conservatory\, as well as master’s degrees in cello and
  theory/composition from Northern Illinois University\, and a PhD in compo
 sition from the University of Chicago. She’s involved with numerous musi
 c organizations both in Kalamazoo and the Chicago area.\nHer music will be
  performed at the BOP STOP by Kent State University faculty quintet\, the 
 Black Squirrel Winds\, and Cleveland pianist Elizabeth DeMio. The concert 
 is free\, thanks to the Musicians’ Local 4 Music Fund. It will also be l
