DESCRIPTION:\nThu 2/26 @ 6PM\nThe Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has hosted a n
 umber of film series\, but now it’s kicking off a new one it called the 
 Rock &amp\; Roll Movie Club. It offers more than just the screening of a n
 ew or iconic movie about music.\nEach evening kicks off at 6pm with drinks
 \, light bites and the chance to hang out and chat with other movie – an
 d music — lovers at The Wall space on the 4th floor. Rock Hall staff wil
 l be on hand with some extras — maybe a discussion\, a giveaway or some 
 artifacts relating to the film of the evening. At 7pm\, everyone moves ove
 r to the adjoining Foster Theater and settled into their seats to watch th
 e film.\nThe first film in the series is Luther: Never Too Much\, a 2024 d
 ocumentary\, about Luther Vandross\, the soul crooner with the silky smoot
 h voice who exploded onto the pop charts in the 1980s\, following his 1981
  debut solo album Never Too Much. His string of hits continued throughout 
 the 90s\, almost until his health began to fail in the early 2000s\, and h
 e won eight Grammys over the course of his career. Although he passed away
  in 2005 at the age of 54 due to long-term health problems\, the film incl
 udes archives interviews with him\, as well as from his collaborators and 
 friends\, such as Dionne Warwick\, Roberta Flack and Mariah Carey (with wh
 om he recorded the 1994 hit duet “Endless Love.”)\nGo here for tickets
