DESCRIPTION:\nSat 5/3 @ 9-11AM\nEach year since 1989\, an informal anti-tra
 sh crew has gathered on the banks of the Cuyahoga for RiverSweep\, to pick
  up all that garbage people thoughtlessly dump all along the river corrido
 r that then leeches into the river and contaminates it. Ugh. Since it star
 ted\, volunteers have helped recycle 25\,248 illegally discarded tires (do
 n’t worry\; there are plenty more for you to find!) and picked up nearly
  1.55 million pounds of trash.\nVolunteers can choose from a list of river
 side sites throughout Cuyahoga County and sign up to join a group. Trash b
 ags\, gloves and t-shirts are provided. Bring water in a reusable bottle 
 — don’t contribute to the pile of trash! — and a trash picker if you
  want\, and wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothes.\nGo here to
