DESCRIPTION:\nSat 5/30 @ 4PM\nJoe Hennes’ “The Magic of the Muppets\,
 ” is a show about the Muppets for adults\, although it’s described as 
 safe for kids\, should yours be interested in a more sophisticated take on
  the puppets created by Jim Henson in the mid ’50s. Those puppets became
  widely known through their appearances on the wildly popular kids’ show
  Sesame Street\, which debuted in 1969 and still running\, and The Muppet 
 Show (1976-1981)\, their fame outliving their creator who died in 1990.\n
  Hennes\, who was born and raised in northeast Ohio and graduated from Br
 ush High School\, is editor in chief of ToughPigs.com\, a site for adult f
 ans of the Muppets. He calls himself “a professional Muppets fan\,” a 
 title he’s certainly earned. He worked for Sesame Street for a decade\, 
 has produced Muppet panels at Comic-Con and led tours of Muppet movie loca
 tions in New York City. At ToughPigs.com he’s published interviews with 
 numerous Muppet-related figures and talked to celebrities about their rela
 tionship to the Muppets.\nHis show\, which he’s bringing to the Irishtow
 n Bend Taproom in Ohio City\, is a two-hour program devoted to telling the
  story of Henson and his creations. It reaches back to their earliest comm
 ercial appearances\, covers their Sesame Street and Muppet Show years\, an
 d talks about the Muppet films\, related music and Henson’s own creative
