DESCRIPTION:\n\nSat 4/18 @ 1-1:30PM\nSteve Parker is a Texas-based artist/m
 usician whose bio says his work “creates sculptural ecosystems that tran
 sform spaces into large-scale collaborative performances.”\nThe immersiv
 e installation Fight Song he created as artist-in-residence at SPACES open
 ed there in February.  He has a previous connection to Northeast Ohio: he
  has a degree from Oberlin College.) The exhibit is described as a partici
 patory\, evolving sound sculpture that incorporates football\, marching ba
 nd traditions\, and sonic therapy. Salvaged band instruments hang from the
  ceiling and gallery visitors can interact with an EEG brain monitor that 
 translates brainwaves into live musical compositions that reflect the exhi
 bit’s theme of injury\, healing\, and labor. Material providing backgrou
 nd for the show is on view in an adjoining gallery.\nThroughout its run\, 
 on alternate Saturdays area\, performers have been in the gallery to activ
 ate the exhibit based on prompts from Parker. The final artist to appear o
 n the show’s final day is noted Cleveland performance poet\, educator an
