 arly join forces to present the Plum City reading Series\, giving readers 
 a chance to hear from a variety of writers published on independent presse
 s who don’t get the same big rollouts that major publisher authors do.\n
 This month\, the theme of the reading is “freedom.” The  readers are 
 Kortney Morrow\, who has just released a new poetry collection called Run 
 It Back\; Cambodian-American author Loung Ung\, whose best-selling 2000 me
 moir First They Killed My Father\, reflected on surviving her country’s
  genocide by its own leaders\; and Elizabeth Zaleski\, author of The Trou
 ble with Loving Poets and Other Essays on Failure. Morrow and Ung are bas
 ed in Cleveland\; Zaleski lives in Akron.\nFollowing the reading at Loganb
 erry books\, there’s an afterparty where writers and readers can mingle 
 and talk literature  taking place across the street at the Literary Cleve
