DESCRIPTION:\nSat 3/15\nDarl Schaaff opened the Darl Center for the Arts in
  a long-abandoned Slavic Village Library which he restores to display the 
 vast collection of art he'd assembled in his 40 years as an Alaska-based e
 vent planner.\n\nIn that beautiful space\, he held his first major event\,
  a show of wearable art\, crafted by friends and acquaintances of his. Mos
 t were from Alaska of thew western U.S. but the stunning display of fashio
 n\, crafted from wood\, fishing line\, airplane parts\, bread tags\, leave
 s\, fake fingernails and more\, also featured the work of two Cleveland ar
 tists\, Jeanetta Ho and Denajua Denujea. Models cavorted the runway in the
 se strange and wonderful items during two packed shows in Darl's basement 
 theater\, followed by receptions in the art-packed spaces upstairs.\n\nVie
