 , an organization formed last year to bring photographers together and pro
 mote photography in Cleveland is called Intentional Unconventional: Exper
 imental Photography and Video. Theydescribe it as an avant-garde multimedi
 a exhibit  that invited photographers and videographers to step away from
  conventional narrative and descriptive storytelling and experiment with a
 bstract\, non-linear and other unconventional techniques.\nIn inviting sub
 missions\, they said\, “We will only be accepting images that are non-tr
 aditional in their approach\, as well as ones where the creator thought ou
 tside of the box with their work. When we say non-traditional\, we don’t
  speak in terms of subject matter\, but rather in terms of the way the ima
 ge was created. We want to see work where the artist pushed beyond traditi
 onal methods.”\nNow that show is opening on Saturday August 2 at the Unh
 inged Lounge in Old Brooklyn\, a change from the originally announced venu
 e. The opening reception on Saturday August 1 from 6-11pm is free and open
