 ince his days growing up\, going to school and getting his feet wet in the
  opera world in his native Honolulu. While his career began as a chorus me
 mber of Hawaii Opera Theatre\, he moved on to a large arena\, making his d
 ebut with New York’s Metropolitan Opera in 2008 in La Boheme\, and soon 
 adding a string of additional Met credits. And he’s sung with numerous o
 ther opera companies across the U.S. and Europe. He’s currently based in
  Chicago\, a significant opera town. (I too have sung with the Chicago Lyr
 ic Opera—as a child in what became the Chicago Children’s Choir/Unitin
 g Chicago Voices!)\nKelsey is also a recitalist\, which brings him to nort
 heast Ohio this week under the auspices of the Cleveland Chamber Music Soc
 iety. He’ll be at Disciples Church in Cleveland Heights\, accompanied by
  pianist Craig Ketter to perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Songs of Travel
 \, Aaron Copland’s Old American Songs\, and Gerald Finzi’s Let Us Garl
