  It"
DESCRIPTION:\nThu 7/9-Sun 7/26\nAs You Like It\, written as the 16th centur
 y turned into the 17th\, is one of William Shakespeare’s most engagingly
  frothy and romantic comedies. It involves two young women\, disguised as 
 men\, who fin love in the Forest of Arden as they flee an oppressive uncle
 ’s court. Like most of his comedies\, it mixes high-born characters and 
 rustic characters. And like almost all of Shakespeare’s plays\, it’s b
 ecome a staple in theaters around the world.\nIt will open the Ohio Shakes
 peare Festival’s summer season outdoors on the grounds of Stan Hywet Hal
 l &amp\; Gardens\, directed by the company’s Associate Artistic Director
  Tess Burgler. Gates open at 6pm for picnicking on Stan Hywet’s beautifu
 l grounds. The Greenshow—a traditonal Elizabethan pre-show summary of th
 e upcoming play—begins at 7:30 with the play itself at 8pm.  It runs Th
