 avid Lester has made a big name for himself the film industry in the past 
 50 years. He’s been a producer\, production manager and unit manager on 
 a long list of significant films\, including The Shawshank Redemption\, a 
 majority of which was filmed at the closed Ohio State Reformatory in Mansf
 ield. He also worked of Bull Durham\, Broadcast News\, Tin Cup\, White Men
  Can’t Jump\, Star Wars and Star Trek: The Motion Picture\, among many o
 thers.\nLester will be the guest of the Great Cleveland Film Commission at
  its annual Behind the Camera gala fundraiser\, taking place at the Clevel
 and History Center at the Western Reserve Historical Society. He’ll shar
 e stories about his career and the diverse roster of films he’s been par
 t of. Fox 8’s Stefani Schaefer will moderate the conversation.\nDoors wi
 ll open at 5\, and attendees will be able to see WRHS’s current exhibit 
 Hollywood on the Cuyahoga: Northeast Ohio and the Movies\, and enjoy drink
 s and appetizers (each ticket includes one drink ticket) prior to the star
 t of the program at 6pm. Money raised goes to support training for those i
 n the area who want to learn skills to work in the local movie industry.\n
