DESCRIPTION:\nThrough January 15\nThe Morgan Conservatory\, which specializ
 es in paper-based arts\, from growing the bark to make paper all the way t
 o the finished product\, has announced a new Certificate in Professional P
 apermaking\, which they’ve asked us to share.\n“This educational six-w
 eek program is designed for those who wish to pursue a career as a profess
 ional and/or collaborative papermaker\,” they say. “An intensive\, ful
 l-time program concentrating first on strengthening and refining technical
  skills in Eastern papermaking and Western papermaking\, it will then appl
 y those skills to contemporary techniques culminating in a collaborative p
 roject with an established visiting artist. Prior knowledge of papermaking
  is required. A maximum of four students will be accepted in this first ye
 ar.”\nThe program runs June 15-July 25\, 2026. It’s accepting applicat
