DESCRIPTION:\nFri 5/30 @ 10AM-2PM\nBack in 2011\, Tim Smith conceived of th
 e urban farming project Community Greenhouse Partners. It ran for ten year
 s before running out of steam and lying fallow for a couple of years. Then
  last year\, the CGP board donated the facility to the nonprofit Food Stro
 ng\, which has revived the space as Superior Farm and is moving it forward
  with a ribbon-cutting for its first season this week on Friday May 30. It
  marks an exciting revival for the property and a big step forward for Foo
 d Strong\, founded in 2016 by Sara Continenza to build a more just\, acces
 sible and health food system via a network of programs that engage the ent
 ire community.\nThe Food Strong Team has big plans for the three-acre farm
 \, a closed church property that CGP acquired from the Cleveland Catholic 
 Diocese. It includes the church itself\, as well as a parish house and the
  surrounding property. It will first begin food production and distributio
 n there\, on a larger scale than it’s been able to do at its current spa
 ce across from Coit Road Farmers Market. Its five-year plan involves turni
 ng the space into a multi-organization community hub and education center.
 \nThe ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10:30am at the restored h
 oop house\, and the first seeds will be planted. During the event\, attend
 ees can take tours of the site\, take part in Q&amp\;A sessions and provid
