  Theatre Festival gives local theater lovers the opportunity to see someth
 ing a bit fresher and potentially more challenging than the average stage 
 fare. It focuses on new plays in the workshop stage\, providing the playwr
 ights\, actors and directors with audience input to take their works to th
 eir next stage.\nOn Friday June 12\, the festival will present Sandra Delg
 ado’s The Untitled Navarro Sisters Play\, a commissioned work with music
  about a 1920s Chicago-based Panamanian vocal quartet. It features songs i
 n both English and Spanish that the women sang as part of their concerts a
 nd on radio.\n On Saturday June 13 and Sunday June 14\, audiences can get
  a preview of Sharone Sayegh’s The Goldsmith\, the story of her family
 ’s journey from Iraq to Israel to the U.S. told through gold jewelry pas
 sed own through generations.\nOn June 13\, it will also perform Sister Che
 mistry\, which parallels the lives of two pairs of sisters\, one in Clevel
 and in 1995 and the other in Poland in 1885 comparing and contrasting thei
