  AEG\, the promoters who run the Agora and Jacobs Pavilion\, have just ope
 ned a new 1\,200 seat venue there on the West Bank at 2320 Center Street c
 alled Globe Iron. Its first official concerts take place this week\, and o
 ne of those is a show by Cleveland’s own Mushroomhead.\nFormed in 1993 b
 y members of local metal bands as a side project\, the musicians donned ma
 sks so they couldn’t be recognized as members of their “main” bands.
  No one seriously expected the band would still be playing more than 30 ye
 ars later\, but there you go. They’ve become known for their creative ma
 sks\, costuming and stage performances\, as well as for music that’s alt
 ernative thunderous and moody\, drawing in influences from metal\, punk\, 
 ambient and industrial music. Band founder\, drummer Steve Felton (aka “
 Skinny” — they also adopted pseudonyms)\, is the only remaing original
