 ted jazz musician\, educator and composer who has performed in a variety o
 f configurations in the last 30 years\, ranging from big bands such as the
  Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and Ernie Krivda’s Fat Tuesday Band to the swi
 ng band Red Light Roxy to his own trio\, quartet and quintet. He’s relea
 sed a pair of albums under his own name and appeared as a sideman on other
 s.\n\nHe calls his new ensemble Tricotism. Ot’s an acoustic jazz trio th
 at blends jazz with blues\, Latin and swing tunes\, offering its own take 
 on pieces by Sonny Rollins\, Thelonius Monk\, the Beatles\, Stevie Wonder 
 and many more\, as well as original material. His partners in Tricotism ar
 e two other seasoned area musicians: drummer Steve Renko and bassist Tim L
 ekan. He’ll be debuting the band at The Sixty at the Midtown Collaborati
 on Center. It’s free and no tickets are required\,. Just walk in\, order
