To do so\, it frequentl y stages musicals with very large casts\, something its move ten years ago into its own state-of-the-art home in Gordon Square has enabled it to do more effectively.\nThis weekend\, it’ll be presenting a show called Road to 50: Celebrating the Songs That Shaped Us. This series of shows will fe ature numbers by the composers whose music it’s shared with its audience s\, performed by the theater’s alumni.  They’ll kick it off with song s by one of modern musical theater’s mainstays: Stephen Sondheim.
