It’s follow ed by the 2x4 Songwriter Showcase where four area musicians get to present a pair of songs.\nThe subject of this month’s talk is “Master Your Pr ocess: Bridging Imagination and Reality.” The guest speaker is multi-ins trumentalist Nathan-Paul\, who first became known in the area music scene as a horn player with neo-soul ensemble Wesley Bright &\; the Hi-Lites. He went on to be music director for its successor Wesley Bright &\; th e Honeytones\, while leading his own band\, the largely instrumental jazz/ R&\;B/funk band the Admirables. But before he did any of that\, he was singing in church and earning a degree in jazz studies from the University of Akron. He slips easily between genres\, especially ones rooted in Blac k culture.\nThe 2x4 musicians this month include Erie\, PA\, singer/songwr iter Tommy Link\, genre-crossing Ohioan Gregory Garwood\, ambient soundsca pe musician Tad Fry\, and alternative rock/punk/acoustic musician Adam Hor vath.
