 pening in odd-numbered years. But many cities in northeast Ohio\, includin
 g Cleveland\, are electing mayors and city councils\, and these election a
 re important too — and often have a more direct impact on your life. So 
 don’t just complain — weigh in at the polls.\nMonday October 6 is the 
 final day to register. Yes\, Ohio is one of the states with the longest ga
 p between the close of registration and Election Day—anything to make vo
 ting more challenging! Early voting starts the next day\, October 7\, so y
 ou can head down to the Board of Elections (in Cuyahoga\, it’s now at Ea
 st 18th and Superior in the former Plain Dealer building\, with a spacious
  free parking lot off East 18th street) and get that ballot banked.\nFind
