DESCRIPTION:\n\nFor nearly five decades\, Herb Ascherman has been one of no
 rtheast Ohio’s leading portrait photographers\, with a thriving career a
 s a commercial studio photographer as well as a fine art photographer. His
  photo series have been exhibited around the world.\n\nHe’ll be sharing 
 the secrets that produced his high-quality work in a pair of upcoming work
 shops in which he’ll cover topics such as available-light photography\, 
 lighting techniques\, portrait aesthetics\, lighting\, posing and camera h
 andling.\nParticipants are invited to bring their cameras and work one-on 
 one with\nthe model.\n\nThe portrait sessions will take place on Saturday 
 March 8\, with one session from noon-2pm and the second from 2:30-4:30pm. 
 Each session is $100.\n\nOn Saturday March 22\, he’ll be holding figure 
 photography sessions\, from noon-2pm and 2:30-4:30pm\; each session is $20
