 ighest paid in the country for what is basically a parttime job — has de
 cided that the most critical issue facing Ohio isn’t jobs or affordable 
 housing\, access to health care or better schools for all kids\, feeding e
 veryone or repairing our crumbling infrastructure or keeping our soil\, ai
 r and water clean.\nNo\, the real issue is a trans kid using the “wrong
 ” bathroom. Ohio just ejected a U.S. Senator whose entire career was dev
 oted to fighting for working people in favor of one who promised — loudl
 y and often — to keep trans women out of public women’s restrooms\, le
 st they attack your daughter\, something he could provide no evidence of e
 ver happening even once. Meanwhile\, the legislature is dictating what sch
 ools can say and teach\, and who they are required to erase — pretty muc
 h everyone except straight\, white “Christian” males.\nIf all of this
