DESCRIPTION:\n\nSat 7/11 @ 9AM-5PM\nLake Metro Parks Farmpark has been givi
 ng people an insight into the farming life for 36 years. And its Farmfest 
 is a time when all those activities come together for an all-day experienc
 e. Many clubs\, who offer activities such as beekeeping\, spinning and wea
 ving\, will be on hand to share their passions. There will also be demonst
 rations of crafts such as spinning sheep’s wool into yard\, how to garde
 n in a small space\, ice cream making\, cooking with garden veggies\, how 
 to groom a horse\, and a “science of breading making presentation” by 
 Reveille Bakery. There will be plenty of animals to visit and several bord
 er collie demonstrations where these smart canines will show you why they 
 are hired to keep the Canada geese out of parks.\nThere’ll also be tours
  of the Plant Science Center where you can learn how to preserve your harv
 est by canning and freezing and visit the hydroponic garden to learn how t
 hey work.\nThere’ll be food trucks onsite as well which don’t have muc
 h to do with traditional farming but which will help fuel you and your fam
