 nty Fair season in Northeast Ohio really kicks in this week with the openi
 ng of two of its biggest fairs: the Lake County Fair in Painesville and th
 e Summit County Fair in Tallmadge.\nBoth fairs offer six full days of ever
 ything that makes up a traditional county fair\, including 4H exhibits\, c
 rafts displays\, rides\, kids’ activities\, live animals\, music perform
 ances\, foods you probably shouldn’t eat on a full-time basis\, and gran
 dstand displays of vehicular power.\nAt the Summit Fair you can also see a
  display of antique farm equipment\, harness racing\, a livestock auction\
 , draft horse pulls\, tractor and truck pulls\, drag racing\, constant woo
 d carving demos\, Absolutely Intense Wrestling\, magic shows\, a Pet Parad
 e on Saturday\, a Baby Day contest on the final day\, and the Pork Chop re
 vue featuring trained pigs doing tricks\,\nAt the Lake County Fair\, which
  features a parade on opening day\, you can see dressage and saddle horse 
 shows\, daily K9 performance dog and Jungle Terry shows\, motocross racing
 \, monster trucks\, and truck and tractor pulls. Thursday is kids’ day w
 ith free popsicles among other things\, Saturday is America 250 day— fre
 e donuts! And Sunday is Latino Day\, honoring the large Mexican that Lake 
 County is blessed with.\nBut wait — we know you’re waiting for the mos
 t important piece of information. When are the demolition derbies? We’ve
  seen a trend lately for fairs to have two evenings of this popular event 
 instead of one\, and that’s the case with the Summit and Lake county fai
 rs. Beater cars will be crashing into each other at the Summit County Fair
  on Wed 7/28 @ 7pm and Sun 8/2 @ 4pm. At the Lake County Fair\, they’ll 
 be trying to disable each other on Tue 8/7/28 @ 7:30 and Sun 8/2 @ 7pm. Yo
