 ’s best jazz musicians will be gathering at the BOP STOP this weekend un
 der the banner of the Jazz Heritage Orchestra for a concert that will pay 
 tribute to two legendary jazz musicians: sax player/composer Wayne Shorter
  (1933-2033) and 86-year-old pianist/composer Herbie Hancock. There will b
 e 17 musicians onstage\, including five saxophone players\, four trumpet p
 layers (including Sean Jones\, former artistic director of the Cleveland J
 azz Orchestra)\, four trombone players\, and a four-piece rhythm section t
 hat features Theron Brown on piano\, Bobby Ferrazza on guitar\, Glenn Holm
 es on bass and Chris Baker on drums. Dennis Reynolds serves as lead trumpe
 t and music director.\nThe Jazz Heritage Orchestra was formed in 1998 at 
 the Cleveland State University Black Studies department with Reynolds as a
 rtistic director to provide greater exposure to the music of great African
  American jazz artists through educational programs and performances. Its 
 new home base is in Akron\, while it does school visits\, master classes\,
