DESCRIPTION:\nSat 11/1 @ 5PM\nIf your eyes have been at all open\, you’ve
  seen the work of Bob Peck around town. Unlike many of the pedestrian\, so
 mewhat anonymous murals popping up everywhere\, his angular\, movement-fil
 led style is uniquely his. Like many of the better local mural artists\, h
 e started out as an “outlaw” doing graffiti before people started to p
 ay attention and commission his work.\nNow he’ll be doing what he calls 
 a “retrospective showcase” of his work (even though he’s more mid-ca
 reer)\, a one-night-only event taking place\, appropriately at Graffiti He
 Art\, an organization dedicated to getting people to take graffiti taggers
  seriously as artists.\nIn the Blink of an Eye is a solo show that will in
 clude his work from the 1990s through today. The ground floor of the two-s
 tory space will feature prints of the graffiti art he did  around town in
  the ’90s and ’00s\, along with sketchbooks and other original pieces 
 from that same era. Walk up the stairs and you’ll see a mix of artwork\,
  from abstract paintings to prints of some of his public art\, to three-di
 mensional and sculptural work.  There will also be narrative blurbs on bo
 th floors sharing the background of the pieces\, and how Peck’s work evo
 lved on the street and in his studio.\nThere will be “plenty of refreshm
 ents\,” we’re promised and “an awesome playlist of music” at this 
 free event. He adds that it’s “child friendly\, as long as they are su
