 College closed its gallery in 2024\, its respected curator Mary Urbas took
  some of the popular shows she’d established there on the road. That inc
 luded her annual From WOMAN show\, whose 19th edition this year took place
  in four galleries from Painesville to Youngstown to Lorain to Gordon Squa
 re. Each show has a slightly different focus.\nThe Lorain piece of From WO
 MAN 19…Art Created by women\, of women &amp\; about women\, currently on
  view at the Stocker Gallery at Lorain County Community College\, is slate
 d to close this Sunday with an artist’s reception from 1-3pm\, where you
  can meet some of the artists\, see the work and talk to Mary about how sh
 e holds mounts such a challenging show with so many parts.\nThe artists in
  the Stocker Gallery show work in figurative art in a variety of media inc
 luding ceramic sculpture\, photography\, encaustic\, painting\, textiles\,
  collage\, mixed media and more. They include Leslye Discont Arian\, Sandr
 a Aska\, Hadley K Conner\, Jen Frisco\, Higo Gabarron\, Tricia Kaman\, Kar
 en Jewell-Kett\, Judi Krew\, Kate Morgan\, Whitney Anderson Rooney\, Sarah
