DESCRIPTION:\nFri 5/22 @ 8PM\nOnce upon a time\, you would’ve had to sear
 ch hard to find a woman performing in a band in a local club. You certainl
 y couldn’t have built a whole evening around them. Thankfully times have
  changed.  If you’re kicking around on Memorial Day weekend\, always a 
 slow time for cultural events (or events that don’t typically involve a 
 lot of grilling and eating)\, why don’t you gather some music-loving fri
 ends and check out what some musically talented women in local bands are u
 p to now that barriers have come down. The Grog Shop is featuring four ban
 ds fronted by women musicians.\nThe quintet Lilieae has been kicking aroun
 d for around a decade\, but they’ve always got fresh music to share. Fou
 nded and fronted by Lydia Puccini and Kayleigh Hyland\, who write most of 
 the band’s material\, they’ve released three EPs of their relentless r
 ocking music.\nThey’ll be sharing the stage at the Grog Shop with anothe
 r experienced local group\, the seven-piece Post Saga whose diverse sound 
 takes in some strong jazz and soul influences along with pop and indie roc
 k. With Danna O’Connor on vocals\, they describe themselves as “distin
 ctively queer.”\nIn addition to the two relatively well-known Cleveland 
 bands (known to those who follow local music anyway)\, the Grog Shop stage
  will host Grosh\, a driving rock and roll band from Buffalo\, NY\, fronte
 d by vocalist Megan Brown and featuring a woman guitarist Grace Lougen\, a
 nd Wreck Like Me\, Northeast Ohio act featuring Danni Elise\, who says the
 y make “poignant folk music for the deep feelers of the world.”\nGet a
