 ’s actually a free\, community-organized\, self-guided event\, where rid
 es of all ages\, skill levels and abilities can explore Lakewood at their 
 own pace. There is no course (just stay in Lakewood\, more or less)\, no s
 et distances and no entry fee. You don’t need an expensive bike or speci
 al biking clothes.\n“Think of it as the Tour de France\, except that it'
 s nothing like the Tour de France\,” they say. “It's a fun\, casual ev
 ent for the community.” And no doping!\n"There are no wrong turns except
  into Lake Erie\," they add.\nThe event starts with an optional ten-mile 
 “fun ride\,” and then you decide where to go. Use a GPS to record your
