 ENCORE Chamber Music Institute was founded in 2015 by violinist Jinjoo Cho
 \, a frequent performer on local stages\, to present the ENCORE Summer Aca
 demy to give pre-professional classical musicians from around the globe th
 e chance to train with internationally noted musicians\, and to present a 
 series of public concerts  and community performances in Northeast Ohio\,
  featuring world-class chamber musicians and performing artists\; paired w
 ith community outreach performances throughout Northeast Ohio. This year
 ’s theme is “Home.”\nThe public concerts launch with an outdoor cele
 bration called “My Home Is a Thousand Places\,” at the Grove in Mayfie
 ld Village on Friday June 5. ENCORE’s artist/teacher string ensemble wil
 l perform music from international folk and musical traditions: Edward Elg
 ar\, Samuel Barber\, Philip Glass\, Nikos Skalkottas\, Reena Esmail\, Gra
 żyna Bacewicz\,Erberk Eryılmaz and others. It’s a family-friendly even
 ing that will include food trucks onsite. Admission is free.\nThe next nig
 ht Cho will host “Jinjoo’s Carte Blanche: Fantasies of Aino Sibelius
 ” at the Federated Church in Chagrin Falls. Aino Sibelius was the wife o
 f composer Jean Sibelius and the program was inspired by a visit Cho made 
 to their home in Finland. It includes Jörg Widmann’s solo violin étude
 s\, Sibelius’ Five Pieces for Violin and Piano\, and Arnold Schoenberg
 ’s Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night). Tickets are $20. Go here to ge
