 This month’s reading\, taking place in the Dobama Arts Space on the seco
 nd floor of its theater\, is …Da Bronx Is Burn’n by Dayshawnda Ash. It
 ’s described as a “visceral\, movement-driven play set in the Bronx in
  the late 70s.” That era\, one of the lowest points in NYC history\, was
  noted for the Bronx landlords who burned down their own buildings rather 
 than keep them up\, leaving vast swaths of the borough vacant. Ash’s pla
 y revolves around a teenage girl named Jamie watching as the city burns up
  and finding refuge in dance as a tool of survival and self-discovery.\nTh
