 band rooted in cumbia/Latin rhythms. They draw the music of various South 
 American countries such as Peru and Colombia\, as well as other far-flung 
 locations to create a sound that’s complex and listenable as well as inf
 ectious and danceable.\nThey’ll be performing at a new music venue that
 ’s not really a music venue: it’s a bookstore after hours. Visible Voi
 ce Books closed at 8pm\, and then reopens with its back-of-the-room stage
