SUMMARY:CVNP Program Looks at How the Cuyahoga River Was Restored
DESCRIPTION:\nWed 8/6 @ 5PM\nThe Low Power Happy Hour programs at Cuyahoga
 Valley National Park are designed as networking/hangout evenings for anyon
 e who supports the environment and the park’s mission\, while giving the
 m a program on a topic relating to protecting our natural world.\nThis mon
 th’s program is called “The River Renewed.” It focuses on a central
 feature of this region: the Cuyahoga River which flows through CVNP. CVNP
 river ranger Ryan Ainger will address how the river was transformed from a
  polluted industrial mess to a major recreational attraction with native p
 lants\, aquatic life and wildlife (otters!) that had once been gone return
 ing to the region\, earning it the honor of a National Water Trail designa
 tion. And while most of these programs take place at CVNP’s Happy Days L
 odge\, this one will take place at the site of the Oxbow Meadows Project.\
 nDoors open for networking at 5pm. The program starts at 5:30 with a Q&amp
 \;A at 6. At 6:30 guests can return to networking and socializing until 7.
  Go here for tickets.\n&nbsp\;
