 kron\, Kent State University and Cleveland State University. It encourages
  writers in a range of literary genres including poetry\, fiction\, playwr
 iting\, essays and more.\nIf you’re curious about what members of this p
 rogram produce\, come to Visible Voice Books on Thursday evening\, June 11
 \, for an evening of readings by five of the program's alumni. They includ
 e poets Carrie George\, Jessica Jewell\, Benjamin Anthony Rhodes\, and fic
 tion writers Isaiah Hunt and Alexandra Salata\, most of whom have been pub
 lished in small journals and many of whom are also educators. The program 
 is hosted by Lindsey Maple\, herself an Akron-based writer.\nThe event is
