 treet when Gordon Park unfurled unbroken from House down to the shore. The
 n came the freeway. Land was filled in and the freeway became a barrier be
 tween South Gordon Park and Lake Erie\, with South Gordon Park mostly empt
 y most of the time.\nNow the Cleveland Metroparks has taken charge\, and t
 here are plans afoot to undo the damage. And with that talk comes discussi
 on of enhancing and reclaiming the underused swath of the park to the sout
 h of the Shoreway\,  and provide green space for recreation and relaxatio
 n. Learn what’s happening — the park improvements\, the new sailing ce
 nter at East 55th Street\, and other projects and neighborhood events near
 by — at a Gordon Park community meeting taking place at St. Martin de Po
