DESCRIPTION:\nSat 3/29 @ 11AM-2PM\nOn February 8\, a group of local organiz
 ations planned an event at Cleveland Heights High School they called Resis
 tance Fair\, to provide people with information about efforts to stand up 
 for democracy in the light of attacks on our country\, our Constitution an
 d the American people by Trumusk.\nThe organizers were expecting maybe a c
 ouple of hundred people\; more than 1\,500 surged through the doors on a b
 lustery\, wintery day\, packing the cafeteria as they connected with group
 s ranging from the ACLU to Lake Erie Ink youth writing group\, organizatio
 ns working with foster kids to groups pushing for stronger gun safety laws
  and fully funding public schools. Whatever your passion\, there was likel
 y someone there offering information and opportunities to join their effor
 ts.\nOf course\, immediately people were asking the key organizations\, 
 “Why don’t you do this on the west side too?” So they are! Come down
  to the Lakewood Fieldhouse on Hurd Avenue near Detroit and West 119th to 
 connect with groups fighting for racial justice\, reproductive rights\, th
 e environment\, gun safety\, LGBTQ+ rights\, immigrant rights\, protecting
  democracy and much more. Sign up to join a group working on your pet pass
 ion and stand up for REAL American values.\n“Turn despair into determina
 tion\,” they urge. “The Resistance Fair is a gathering of groups worki
 ng every day to bring our values to life — protecting targeted communiti
 es\, our environment\, and our democracy. As we look toward the next four 
 years of attacks on all we hold sacred and meaningful\, now is the time to
  unify\, organize\, and act.”\nNo registration is required — just come
