 arly because the Cleveland Museum of Art’s monthly MIX party is one of t
 he most popular events on its calendar.\nThis month’s theme is Peace\, L
 ove and Soul\, which should make for a groovy mix. It’s honoring Black h
 istory month in general and Cleveland’s funk\, soul and R&amp\;B musical
  history in particular. Luckily\, some of the key players of that scene ar
 e still around\, including Michael J. Calhoun\, founding member of the Daz
 z Band\, who’ll bring his latest lineup of the band originally called th
 e Kinsman Dazz Band. They’ll play at 7:15.\nBefore and after\, you can s
 trut your moves to music spun by DJ Kristyles\, who’ll be playing a lot 
 of the same type of music\, including Motown favorites and bands that have
  ties to northeast Ohio such as the O’Jays (Canton\, inducted into the R
 ock Hall in 2005)\, Bobby Womack (born in Cleveland and inducted into the 
 Rock Hall in 2009) and the Ohio Players (Dayton\, which has apparently bee
 n relocated 200 miles up I-71.)\nSo break out your best retro Soul Train l
 ooks and get ready to hit the dance floor. As usual\, there will be themed
  food and drinks available for purchase. The party takes place in the Atri
