  20-year-old ensemble Cleveland Burlesque bring the dazzle back to Akron w
 here it began\, with Burlesco at the Akron Civic Theatre’s Knight Stage.
 \nThere Bella and her ensemble will celebrate the golden years of performe
 rs such as burlesque artist/showgirl Rose La Rose who at her peak in the 
 ’40s and ’50s was earning the equivalent of more than $30\,000 a week 
 in today’s money. She later became a leading citizen in Toledo\, where s
 he settled following her retirement in 1958\, until her death in 1972. The
  show will demonstrate how that legacy is interpreted by today’s perform
 ers\, including the professional-level performers in Cleveland Burlesque.
