 ent as a contestant on Season 8 of Project Runway. She didn’t win anythi
 ng\, but she came back to Cleveland with a new resume point and the urge t
 o start her own fashion business — and she did.\nIn the last 20 years\, 
 Mayén’s Yellowcake Fashion show has been located at various locations a
 round Gordon Square\, offering slow\, sustainable\, American-made clothing
  that eschews trendiness in favor of creating well-made garments that are 
 versatile and flattering to a variety of body types. While her clothes are
 n’t inexpensive\, they’re made to last and not go out of style. She’
 s been recognized as a Crain's Cleveland Woman of Note and a Notable Latin
 o Leader\, and won the Cleveland Arts Prize.\nShe’ll talk at the City Cl
 ub about how she built her business as part of its annual Join us at the C
