 ing force behind Cleveland band Jack &amp\; the Optimists. An active part 
 of Cleveland’s indie music scene for more than 15 years\, McLaughlin rel
 eased a solo album in 2022 and the debut Jack &amp\; the Optimists album t
 itled Shades of You in late 2023. The band includes McLaughlin on guitar a
 nd vocals\, Patrick McLaughlin on bass and vocals\, and Brian Randall on d
 rums nad vocals.\nNow he’s got a brand-new Optimists vinyl album ready t
 o go\, titled Mad About You\, and the band will be unveiling it at a relea
 se show at the Treelawn on Waterloo this Friday. Drew Joseph will open the
